Delta state Government has sent an high powered delegation led by the Deputy Governor Sir Monday Onyeme and the Secretary to the state government Dr. Emu Kingsley to inspect the fire inferno that engulfed businesses and claimed lives on Sunday

The delegation also paid a condolence visit to the family of those who lost their lives during the incident.

The fire incident which occurred when a petrol laden tanker exploded and affected two first generation banks along the Agbor/Lagos expressway in Ika south local government area, led to the death of car owners who were trapped in their cars.

The Delta deputy governor during the condolence visit to the families who lost their loved ones, urged the families to seek solace in God over the incident which also destroyed the banks and houses in Agbor.

He assured the people that the state government will look into the remote cause, while finding a lasting solution to fire outbreak in the community.
