Navy gives free medical care to over 2000 Residents in Rivers community
Over 2000 persons from Nkpor village Rumuolumeni community in Obio/Akpor local government Area and Opobo Town in Opobo/Nkoro local government area of Rivers State, have benefitted from a two-day free medical rhapsody carried out by the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) PATHFINDER.
The 2-day medical outreach, which was carried out is part of the Nigerian Navy’s corporate social responsibility (CSR) and non-kinetic efforts of Operation Delta Sanity 4.
Speaking during the exercise at Nkpor village, the Commander NNS Pathfinder,Commodore Cajethan Aniaku, said the medical rhapsody is in line with Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogala vision, mission and strategic directive.
Earlier the team led by the executive officer of NNS PATHFINDER Navy captain Bassey Bassey led the team to opobo in carrying out the corporate social responsibilities as some of the beneficiaries thanked the Navy for the gesture.
