The twins of Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun, who were kidnapped last week Thursday have been released by the suspected kidnappers.

.The Monarch who confirmed the release of the chldren to our correspondent in a telephone interview was full of appreciation to all Nigerians, especially the security agencies and the people of Ibadanland.

 The monarch said a ransom N10 million was paid before the twins could regain their freedom.

The Commissioner of Police in the state, Abiodun Odude, who also confirmed the release of the twins said they were rescued in lagos following frantic efforts by security operatives.

Odude, who denied the payment of any ransom in a telephone conversation with our Correspondent said his men are on the trial of the suspected kidnappers.
